Screenwriter Lindsey Beer (Sierra Burgess is a loser, The magical order, Bambi) will lead the next part, which will serve as her directorial debut. The film is a follow-up adaptation of the 2019 horror film starring Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, John Lithgow and Jeté Laurence.
In addition, Beer also wrote the latest script for the project, based on a draft by Jeff Bühler, who adapted the 2019 film from a screen story by Matt Greenberg. Directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer.
Details of the plot of the upcoming film have not yet been announced, but it was announced back in February that the new one Pet cemetery would serve as the origin story for Stephen King’s horror classics, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian producing. Production of the Paramount Players film will begin in August and will be released exclusively on Paramount + Streamer.
