Patti LuPone ran the OK Boomer Show and rounded out the cast with Will Sasso and Tim Chiou
The HBO Max Comedy Pilot OK boomer with Broadway icon Patti LuPone (pose) fills his line-up with Will Sasso (Together we fall) and Tim Chiou (I was a simple man). Deadline reports that the couple joins Hayes as series regulars along with Erinn (Bill and Ted: Face the music) and Devere Rogers (Will and grace) together with Zoe Manarel (An American girl: summer camp) and Carter Chee.

in the OK boomerLuPone plays Barbara in a self-centered boomer who shows up at the house of her estranged daughter Sarah (Hayes) hoping to make a living from the family’s money. Family abductions occur when she clashes with her cautious and progressive granddaughter, but forms an unexpected bond with her when challenged because of her differing views.
Sasso will play Nick, Sarah’s (Hayes) older brother, who recently got divorced and is getting his life back on track while staying at Sarah’s guest house. Unlike his sister, Nick is excited about her mother’s return and tries to earn her approval. Chiou will portray Trevor, Sarah’s even-tempered husband who runs a construction company. He tries to help his wife adapt to her family, who move in with them and bring with them all their eccentricities. Manarel is Campbell, Sarah’s oldest, a socially conscious high school freshman committed to progressive causes but also just a teenager full of self-doubt and fear. Chee plays Jacob, Sarah and Trevor’s youngest, a bright, sensitive, but fear-ridden boy who lets fear rule his life.

The multi-cam comedy pilot is by Todd Linden (happy end), the late fanfare of Jamie Tarses and Sony Pictures TV. The pilot, written by Linden, is said to have been written by Victor Gonzalez (Last man standing). Vanessa McCarthy is the showrunner and executive producer of the project alongside Tarses.
