Netflix has released the full trailer for the upcoming fourth and final season of Justin Simien’s comedy-drama series Dear white peoplewhich is currently due to return on September 22nd.

The video opens with Samantha from Logan Browning and Lionel from DeRon Horton watching their last year at Winchester University. It gives us a preview of some of the big music numbers from last season as the seniors try to produce a 90s-style musical varsity show where they can showcase iconic black music. However, the production of the show won’t be that easy as the members of the Black American Forum want to protest against the musical.
