Queens of Stone Age’s Josh Homme is facing domestic violence injunctions on behalf of his children, TMZ reports and Pitchfork have confirmed. Brody Dalle, Homme’s ex-wife who leads the band The Distillers, filed injunctions in court on behalf of her 5 and 10-year-old sons. The files accuse physically abusive behavior, verbally abusive behavior and drinking while driving. In the documents they look for a 100 meter separation between Homme and themselves and the family dog.
Trials on the injunction motions are currently scheduled for Monday, September 13th, according to documents viewed by Pitchfork.
“MS. Dalle previously submitted these allegations to the police, [Department of Child and Family Services], and the chairman of the family court, who have all declined to take action on these false claims, “Homme’s attorney Susan Wiesner said in a statement to TMZ. The publication also reported that Dalle’s previous “efforts to obtain the injunction on behalf of their children” had been denied.
In another statement shared with Pitchfork, Wiesner said: “Ms. Dalle’s allegations against Mr. Homme are categorically false. To protect the children, we will not make any further statements. “
