Rihanna has dropped the lawsuit she filed against her father Ronald Fenty for misusing her name, Radar Online reports and Pitchfork can confirm. The case was filed in early 2019 and was due to go to trial on September 22nd. Pitchfork has asked Rihanna’s representative for a comment.

In the original lawsuit, Rihanna alleged that her father and business partner, Moses Joktan Perkins, used her company, Fenty Entertainment, to exaggerate their business relationships with the singer. She had also accused her father of booking shows without her permission, and her lawyers alleged Fenty and Perkins ignored several injunctions.
