Black widow Star and Oscar nominee Scarlett Johansson is the newest cast member to join Wes Anderson’s next feature film project, according to Deadline. The untitled film, which is said to be a love story set in Europe, is currently being produced in Spain.

Johansson will star in the film, written and directed by Anderson, alongside previously announced Tom Hanks, Adrien Brody, Margot Robbie, Billy Murray, Jason Schwartzman, Rupert Friend and Tilda Swinton. Plot and character details are currently under lock and key.
Meanwhile, Anderson’s much-anticipated dramedy romance The French shipping will finally be released after making its debut at the Cannes Film Festival on October 22nd, 2021. Brody, Murray, Swinton along with Frances McDormand, Benicio Del Toro, Timothée Chalamet, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Elisabeth Moss, Liev Schreiber and many others are the main characters in the film.
The French shipping is described as a love letter to journalists written in an American newspaper outpost in a fictional 20th century French city.

Johansson previously voiced a character in Anderson’s 2018 stop-motion feature Island of the Dogs. The new project will be her first live-action collaboration with the Oscar-winning filmmaker.
