Last night (May 25), BTS were the musical guests on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The K-Pop septet played the new single “Butter”. BTS also appeared in a comedy sketch that featured a new selection of hand gestures that fans could copy. In the early evening, Colbert announced that his show would return to studio recording on June 14 with a live audience (and a vaccinated audience).
“Butter” is BTS ‘second English-language single after “Dynamite” last year. The latter track was the first song by an all-South Korean group to ever land at # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Last week, BTS made the live debut of Butter at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
