Silk Sonic – Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak’s super duo side project – have shared a new collaboration. It’s called “skate”. The track comes with a vintage visual directed by Mars and Florent Dechard. See .Paak and Mars play the drums while ladies skate around them in the clip below.
“Skate” is the second single from Silk Sonic, who took the time to release their (alleged) debut album. Her first song “Leave the Door Open” was released in March. When they performed it at this year’s BET Awards – their third award ceremony for the song that year after the Grammys and iHeartRadio Music Awards – Paak joked about the song’s ubiquity. “Would you like to hear a new song from the album?” He asked the crowd. “Nah, we’re bringing it back, let’s go! Because we are still in the top 10! You feel me And until that day we will do that over and over again! ”Then they did it all over again.
