Audiobook and podcast site Audible has announced a new list of artists to be added to their Words + Music franchise. Sleater-Kinney, Tariq Trotter “Black Thought”, Gary Clark Jr., Sting, Billie Joe Armstrong and Yo-Yo Ma will join the current list of musicians for the Musical Storytelling program.

The Sleater-Kinney program premieres on June 17th. Co-directors Corin Tucker and Carrie Brownstein will repeat their shared history of making music together. During the segment of Black Thought (premiering June 3), the Roots frontman will examine his life and career in seven-year increments, starting with his childhood in Philadelphia. Billie Joe Armstrong’s piece entitled “Welcome yo My Panic” premieres on April 22nd and documents his career from his beginnings in the alternative rock scene to his current role as a successful musician and his foray through Broadway.
