When we launched the Spreaker plan for business users in 2019, our goal was to be the ultimate podtech solution for podcast publishers. We have helped podcasters and publishers since its inception HEAVEN, global, Mondadori, Vanity Fair Italy, and Spain, HBO Latin America) Connect with advertisers, scale their monetization and efficiently manage podcast content.
Podcasting is no longer an up-and-coming media experiment. It’s a mainstream medium that plays an integral role in the advertising and marketing strategies of thousands of podcast publishers who are faced with the challenge of managing large amounts of audio content while trying to monetize their entire catalog.
Knowing this is a challenge for many publishers, we at Spreaker decided to offer a customizable offering Publisher plan that is tailored to the specific needs of each of our customers and even offers robust basic functionality so that any user can easily scale their podcast business. What does that mean? Well we have a basic publisher plan, but if you have additional needs we can work with you personally to tailor it to all of your wants and needs.
Before we get into that, here’s a little visual intro about the plan.
Our publisher plan is different from all other plans in that it doesn’t restrict your downloads. Essentially, it’s a full podcast platform with a pay-as-you-go pricing scheme. In addition to unlimited downloads, our publisher plan includes all of our previous offerings, such as one-click distribution, as well as a few additional features highlighted below. These two functions include:
-
collaboration
-
Campaign management
Collaboration: adding podcast collaborators
As you know, Spreaker already gives you a way to collaborate with people on your team via the podcast collaboration feature, and that level of collaboration is getting nowhere. The new network collaboration is an additional feature that enables you to extend higher-level permission to team members involved in all podcasts on your network. While you might just want to share a single podcast with a few team members using the podcast collaboration feature, the new network collaboration feature saves you time by allowing you to add a collaborator to your network with a single invitation.

If your podcasting business is large, you can contact our sales team to discuss the possibility of enabling ours Organizational function. With the organization function, a company administrator can bring each network under one account while hosting different administrative levels and permissions at the organization, network and podcast level. Let us simplify this explanation with an example. Condé Nast is a global mass media company that has numerous media brands including Vogue, Glamor and Vanity Fair. In the context of the organizational function, each media brand would represent a network that hosts its own podcasts about its target audience and brand. Networks don’t communicate with each other, so podcasts posted by the Glamor Network will not be accessible to anyone working on the Vanity Fair Network. Network isolation enables separate collaborative ecosystems. Eventually, all of these networks would come under the umbrella of the Condé Nast Organization. An administrator can be specified for the organization. In this case, someone who works for Condé Nast is responsible for managing the accounts, users, and podcasts on all of the networks that are under the umbrella of the organization. And if you need a more visual example of the above explanation, here it is:

Campaign Management: Manage your podcast monetization strategies
As advertising revenue increases year on year, the ways and approaches to monetization shift and become increasingly accessible, leaving traditional sponsorship models behind. At Spreaker, we believe this is great news for the entire industry, and we have invested heavily in creating opportunities for innovative monetization models.
Spreaker uses two types of monetization technologies that can be useful for both publishers and podcasters:
- Programmatic ads
- Ad manager
Programmatic ads are purchased automatically and optimized according to your listeners. Spreaker is affiliated with a wide variety of media buyers and ad exchanges. This means we can help you connect with the right advertisers when podcast publishers lack a sales team or lack the time to manage the advertising portion of their business. More importantly, though, programmatic ads can help publishers sell 100% of their inventory in not just domestic but international markets as well. For example, if 30% of your podcast listeners are from France, we can serve them specific ads for that particular region.
Ads are targeted to the right listeners based on demographics, devices, and interests. Plus, every time episodes are streamed or downloaded, they are updated with new ads to make sure your content stays relevant and reaches the right user. You can even easily decide whether your ads will be dynamically inserted in pre, mid and post rolls. All of this can be done automatically and, most importantly, effortlessly.
However, if podcast publishers want to add their own audio ads to their inventory, they can contact our sales team to discuss the option to enable the ad manager. Regardless of whether you have your own offers with advertisers or want to run self-promo ads, this is where you can set up and configure advertising campaigns and desired goals and monitor the entire progress. This tool allows you to use dynamic ad injection and / or traditional ads on your network of shows to promote podcasts, events and releases. In essence, the Facebook ad manager has adapted for podcast users.
We can offer you all of this PLUS priority support. This means we are just a quick email away if you ever have any questions, doubts, concerns, or concerns.
