During the virtual Star Trek Universe Panel at [email protected], the teaser trailer for the animated series by Nickelodeon and Paramount + Star Trek: Child Prodigy was published. The series will debut on Paramount + this fall.

Star Trek: Child Prodigy follows six young aliens – Dal (Brett Gray), Gwyn (Ella Purnell), Rok-Tahk (Rylee Alazraqui), Murf (Dee Bradley Baker), Zero (Angus Imrie) and Jankom Pog (Jason Mantzoukas) – who command an abandoned Starfleet – Spaceship they don’t know about.

Kate Mulgrew repeats her performance as Captain Kathryn Janeway Star Trek: Voyager, as a hologram that helps the new, young crew to find their way around the cosmos.
“She’s gorgeous,” Mulgrew said during the panel. “She will help these children. She is determined to help them leave this very, very dangerous and dark planet and get to a much better place, another galaxy. “

The animated series is produced by Kevin Hageman and Dan Hageman as executive producers, with Ben Hibon directing and co-responsible. Star Trek: Child Prodigy is co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and CBS Eye Animation Productions. Executive producers also include Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth. Aaron Baiers will be co-executive producer.
