SZA has released three new tracks via an anonymous SoundCloud account, as Stereogum emphasizes. “Nightbird”, “I Hate You” and “Joni” were uploaded today (August 22nd). The account is credited to “.”. and based in “Nowhere, United States”, however, SZA shared a link to the page on their official Twitter this morning. “Discharge random thoughts,” she wrote in the post. Find that below.
Last month, SZA teased an excerpt from another single called “Shirt” during a livestream event. The self-released new tracks follow on “Hit Different” – their 2020 comeback single with Ty Dolla $ ign – and the subsequent cut “Good Days”. Earlier this year she joined Doja Cat for the song “Kiss Me More” and linked up with SAINt JHN for her Space Jam: A New Legacy Track “Just for Me.” SZA responded to a fan question about “shirt” on Twitter today. “You next,” wrote SZA.
