Dinosaur Jr. have released another single from their next album, Sweep It Into Space. “Take It Back” comes with a colorful claymation video by Callum Scott-Dyson, which you can watch below. Dinosaur Jr. also announced special guests for Camp Fuzz II, including actor and writer Michael Imperioli who is performing a live reading from his novel The Perfume Burned His Eyes, Tim Meadows who is hosting a stage banter workshop, and one Performance by the punk band Negative Approach.

Callum Scott-Dyson spoke about the picture for “Take It Back” in a press release, saying that he “really wanted to use the creature on the front of the album sleeve for Sweep It Into Space as an inspiration and stepping stone for his own little kid’s adventure, exploration some simple ideas about creation, addiction, growing up and searching for another like you. ” He added:

I wanted to mix these themes with my style of stop motion animation, where everything was very DIY and hand made, using whatever materials I could get my hands on, to bring the idea to life and make it feel surreal and otherworldly to lend. I’ve always been a huge Dinosaur Jr. fan, so I’ve worked extra hard to do something that can add to such a great track and sit by.

Sweep It Into Space will be released on April 23rd via Jagjaguwar. The band has already shared a few songs from the record (which was co-produced by Kurt Vile): “I Ran Away” and “Garden”.
