First look: The Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort opens on June 4th
The eagerly awaited Avengers Campus in Disney’s California Adventure is also opening WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure on June 4th. Actor Tom Holland appears at the attraction as Peter Parker and takes visitors on a family-friendly ride with state-of-the-art technology. For the first time, guests can be part of the action themselves through interactive elements on board Spider-Man.

The Disney Parks Blog revealed more details, including the Pym Test Kitchen, a Ant man The inspired fast food restaurant also opens with a selection of tiny and huge, but familiar, food options. Yes, Pym Particle Foodie Fun!
There will also be a comprehensive area: The Sanctum, where visitors can meet Doctor Strange and take a lesson on the mystical arts. The Sorceror Supreme won’t be the only Avenger you will encounter as there will be encounters with Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, the Black Widow, the Ant Man and the Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, across campus and Thor. And don’t count the bad guys, Loki is known for wreaking havoc in these areas too. Can we say that with the success of WandaVision, we definitely hope to see Wanda, Vision and Agnes too?
The Avengers Campus in Disney’s Califonia Adventure is the first large area of a contiguous Marvel theme park universe of attractions that begins a new chapter in immersive storytelling. By rides like Guardian of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout and Spider Man: WEB Slinger, visitors are invited to become superheroes in an unprecedented way. A future e-ticket ride with the Avengers team, taking visitors on an epic Quinjet journey, is also set to open in Phase 2 of the expansion, as announced at D23 Expo 2019. These rides connect the international Avengers attractions: The Ironman Experience and Ant man and the wasp: Nano Battle at Hong Kong Disneyland, which will feed into a Stark Expo experience set to expand in 2023. Another location on the Avengers campus was originally slated to open later this year at Disneyland Paris. Disney Parks and Marvel Studios have teamed up to bring fans a new world of participatory entertainment to participate in worldwide. Get us an Iron Man suit or a trip on the Benetar because we’re ready to go!
Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Parks, told CNN: “[Marvel’s] The Avengers Campus will be a campus that will never be made. How [Marvel President] Kevin Feige continues to create new stories, new characters, these stories and characters will show up in the park. “
California residents will be the first to visit the country as restrictions still exist and Disneyland parks will only let locals in through a ticket reservation system until the state is fully reopened. CA State Governor Newsom anticipates this could possibly be as early as June 15th!
