According to the report, the restart will bring back many of his original ideas, including the giant Mayan talking head Olmec, the Moat Crossings, The Steps of Knowledge, and the legendary Temple Run. The team names remain with their original titles. So expect the Purple Parrots, Blue Barracudas, Orange Iguanas, Red Jaguars, Silver Snakes and Green Monkeys to find their way back.
While some of the original games and themes may return, the reboot will be a much more extensive version of the predecessor. Tougher challenges and prizes will come into the new format, with contestants likely having to do a lot more to get a win this time around. Scott A. Stone, one of the show’s original creators, will serve as executive producer on the show alongside Marcus Fox, who was executive producer at Nickelodeon’s Paradise run.
