The matrix 4 finally has an official title, as it will be called The Matrix: Resurrections. Warner Bros. announced this at CinemaCon tonight and also showed a teaser trailer and footage from the film.

It is said that Keanu Reeves has long hair and a similar beard in the film John Wick Look, and the trailer shows Thomas Anderson forgetting the Matrix and then meeting Trinity in a coffee shop without recognizing each other. Later, a younger Morpheus is shown giving Neo a red pill and telling him it is “time to fly”.

The Matrix: Resurrections will feature the return of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith as they repeat their iconic roles as Neo, Trinity and Niobe. The film will also star newcomers Christina Ricci, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Toby Onwumere and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who is rumored to play the young Morpheus.

The previous three films – The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded (2003), and The Matrix Revolutions (2003) – grossed more than $ 1.6 billion at box offices around the world, and were all top 10 in their respective years -Hits publication. The Matrix Revolutions was also the first film to be released simultaneously in all major countries around the world at the same hour.

Originally scheduled for a release on May 21, 2021, The Matrix 4 has now been postponed to December 22, 2021 due to the temporary production interruption due to the ongoing pandemic.
