HBO Max has finally released the first teaser for the long-awaited Friends: The goodbye Special, which will now have its premiere on Thursday, May 27th, on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the start of the streamer. The video shows our first look at the sitcom’s six popular stars as they walked through what appears to be the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, California.

Additionally, the guest line-up for the unspoken HBO Max special has been revealed and is definitely packed with appearances from stars from a variety of special guests. These include previous cast members: Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice’s favorite role, Tom Selleck, who played Monica’s ex-boyfriend Richard Burke, and Reese Witherspoon, who appeared as Rachel’s younger sister, Jill Green, and Elliot Gould and Christina Pickles, who played the Roles of Ross and Monica’s parents. James Michael Tyler, Larry Hankin and Thomas Lennon, who played the roles of Gunther, Mr. Heckles and Randall, respectively, also appear.
In addition, the special also includes David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling and Malala Yousafzai.

Friends: The goodbye will reunite the six main cast of the beloved sitcom, including Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc who played the roles of Rachel, Phoebe, Monica, Ross, Chandler and Joey. The special was recorded in two locations: on the legendary show’s original Stage 24 soundstage, on the Warner Bros. Studio property in Burbank, and in front of the famous fountain that featured in the show’s opening credits.
The non-written HBO Max special will be directed by Ben Winston, who will also serve as executive producer in addition to original producers Kevin Bright, Kauffman and Crane. The six main stars will be executive producers alongside Emma Conway, James Longman and Stacey Thomas-Muir.

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends had lasted over ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, following the story of six friends who lived in New York. Although 25 years have passed since its debut, the 62-time Emmy Award-nominated series has stood the test of time and is still considered one of the best TV series of all time. It had also become a pop culture phenomenon known to all age groups.
The fans are waiting for the eagerly awaited Friends: The goodbye Specifically, they can get all of their favorite episodes from the sitcom on TBS first, as the network is currently broadcasting each episode in a month-long marathon weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET / PT through June 4.
