Similar to Way of the househusband, the Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting puts a sturdy yakuza member in an unlikely situation that requires their softer side.
“Kirishima Tooru is the right-hand man of the Sakuragi crime family, ”says the official description of the manga. “For him, the job is a perfect excuse to let his violent instincts run free, which has earned him the nickname ‘the demon of Sakuragi’. It seems like nothing stands in the way of its malevolent nature. But one day he gets an order from the boss like never before – to babysit his daughter! This is the heartwarming (or bloodthirsty?) Story of a little girl and her yakuza caretaker! “
The sixth volume of the manga is due out soon in Japan, and the series recently started making its way west with the second volume digital release in June.
