Trevor Noah works with Paramount Animation on the original film
In his nearly 20-year career, Emmy won The daily show Host Trevor Noah hasn’t really explored the world of film yet and plays small roles in Mad Buddies and Black Pantherand now he’s finally ready to dip his toes in the field as he collaborates with Paramount Animation on a new original film, according to Variety.

The storyline details for the untitled feature are currently kept near the chest, but they are referred to as “punctual, poignant and funny”And is based on an original story idea from Noah, who will produce the project through his Day Zero Productions banner together with his President for Production Haroon Saleem, Norman Aladjem, Derek Van Pelt and Sanaz Yamin for Mainstay Entertainment. The script for the project is written by black Writers and happy end Co-showrunners Jonathan Groff and Modern family and Community Alum Jon Pollack.
The project is the latest project by Noah in his and Day Zero’s contract with ViacomCBS, signed in March 2018, with the aim of developing, producing and purchasing a variety of content for national and international audiences on the studio’s various platforms .
