Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church teamed up tonight at the 2021 Super Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, where they performed the national anthem together ahead of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Watch how it goes on below.
“We come from two very different backgrounds, (but) I think it’s nice to combine different lifestyles and different music (and) different art and do something special,” Sullivan told Associated Press a few days before today’s performance. “I definitely think we achieved that and I think it will be really good.”
Before the anthem, HER was there to play “America the Beautiful”. The Weeknd performed the halftime show later that evening.
