Madison McFerrin released a new cover of Radiohead’s 2001 “Everything In Its Right Place” by Kid A. Your rendition is part of a new video released by the nonprofit Sounds of Saving that is focused on promoting mental health improvements and reducing health suicide rates in the United States in partnership with the Loveland Foundation.
“I think one of the reasons I love music as much as I do is because it stops a lot of noise in my brain,” McFerrin says in the video. “I had a unique experience of being a black woman who had access to therapy from a young age. And I’m incredibly grateful for that. Now that the conversation has opened up to be more aware of everyone’s mental health. I think it’s incredibly important for blacks to get involved, especially given the generational trauma that America has experienced so deep. “Madison McFerrin’s performance starts at 2:18 pm; see below.
