What if and Yellowstone Star Dave Annable has joined the second season of the Jared Padalecki-led drama Walking aid at The CW, according to the deadline. Annable will play Dan Miller in a recurring role, husband of a season 2 character named Denise, who is described as “full of bravery”. Dan is “extremely loyal to the Davidson family and very protective of his wife. He’s taken on the Davidsons’ distrust of the Walkers and is clearly not going to settle in Austin without a fight, ”the character description says.

Annable will first appear in episode 2.01. He joins his wife Odette Annable on the series, who plays Geri Broussard and will be a regular on the series for the second season. Season 2 of Walking aid Premiere on Thursday, October 28th.

The first season of Walking aid is available to stream on The CW App and CWTV.com, and will also be streamed on HBO Max on September 11th. The first season DVD will be released on October 26th and is available for pre-order now from CBS and Paramount Home Entertainment.

Walking aid, a reinterpretation of the longstanding series Walker, Texas Ranger, Stars Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns to Austin after being undercover only to discover that there is harder work to be done at home.

The series also stars Lindsey Morgan (The 100) as Walker’s partner Micki Ramirez, Kale Culley (Me me and me) as Walker’s son Arlo, Violent Brinson (Sharp objects) as Walker’s daughter Stella, Keegan Allen (Little lying beasts) as Walker’s brother Liam, Molly Hagan (Hermann’s head) as Walker’s mother Abeline, Mitch Pileggi (X-Files, Supernatural) as Walker’s father Bonham, Jeff Pierre (Dogs of war) as Trey Barnett, Coby Bell (Third o’clock) as Captain Larry James, Odette Annable (Super girl) as Geri, Matt Barr (Blood & treasure) as Hoyt and Genevieve Padalecki (Supernatural, Wildfire) as Walker’s late wife, Emily. Plus Alex Landi (Grey’s Anatomy), Gabriela Flores (The last ship) and Jeffrey Nordling (Big little lies) Guest star.
