Publisher and developer Dotemu has announced that it will conduct an open beta test for its upcoming game Windjammer 2. This beta, which will be available to everyone, starts this week and runs from August 11th to August 22nd.

According to the company, the Windjammer 2 The open beta will run through Steam on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. During the open beta session, players can compete in the online ranked game on different places in the game, including a sandy beach, a roaring stadium, a rowdy ring or a towering roof with bumpers.

The open beta will allow players on the PS4 and PS5 to compete against each other, with Steam users playing against other PC players. Four playable characters will be available in the Open Beta, representing the United Kingdom, United States, Italy and France. Each player will have their own unique balance of power and speed, complete with their own tricks and throwing skills.

Windjammer 2 is currently expected to appear on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2021.
