Well, it turns out the rumors were true – Zack Snyder’s Justice League was officially rated R for violence and a specific language according to FilmRatings.com. Snyder alluded to the idea of an R rating when teasing a Batfleck-F-bomb and hacking the movie’s villain, Steppenwolf, a lot and now he seems to be a man of his word.

Justice League will show HBO Max on March 18 as a four-hour film only. It was originally announced at DC FanDome that the film would be released on HBO Max in 2021 by splitting it into four one-hour parts, which will also be released as a four-hour film, but Snyder’s new comments seem to suggest that it would only be a one-time film instead of the four-part series is published.
