Zatanna writes to Emerald Fennell about the possibility of making the DC film

The film adaptation was rumored for the first time last year and was recently confirmed on AT & T’s Investor Day along with the development of the film Batgirl Solo film, the former of which is from JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and will mark the character’s live-action film and DC Extended Universe debut.

Although Serinda Swan hadn’t previously appeared in a live-action movie, she made her live-action debut on Zatanna on the fan-favorite series Smallvillealthough the character is certainly better known for her appearances in various cartoon series such as Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited and Young justice as well as in the latest TV shows DC Super Hero Girls and Harley Quinn.
A Zatanna Solo film is just the latest project in the works between DC and Abrams’ Bad Robot. Both are currently working together to develop one Justice League Dark Series on HBO Max and a new one Superman The film by the writer Ta-Nehisi Coates is said to have centered around a black man who takes on the iconic coat.
