Sharon Van Etten has released covers of songs from her 2010 album Epic for the past few weeks, and the latest is Fiona Apple’s version of “Love More”. It will be featured in the new edition of Ten for the 10th anniversary. Listen down below.
Earlier this month, Courtney Barnett and Vagabon teamed up to cover Van Etten’s Don’t Do It. Van Etten’s latest album, Remind Me Tomorrow, was released in 2019.
Epic Ten will feature liner notes written by Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker. “The grace of Sharon Van Etten helps to heal the earth from heart to heart,” writes Lenker. She adds:
“Love More” and “Peace Signs” are hymns for all who need it. Like medicine in a closet, when it can enrich the experience. But Sharon as an autonomous creature, vessel and spirit changed my life by simply showing me kindness and unquestionably giving me time without knowing how badly I needed it.
