Vince Staples sat down for a new interview with comedian Desus Nice for the May 2021 issue of GQ, which revealed the Long Beach rapper has two albums on the way: A self-titled LP, which appear to be out this summer supposed to, and another one that is full-length called Ramona Park Broke My Heart. Staples also has “a Netflix show with his name on the horizon,” according to the article.

Much of the interview focuses on Staples’ own growth as an artist, his COVID routine, and, towards the end, the dangers of home ownership and dealing with lively, trash-picking raccoons. Read the whole thing on GQ.

Vince Staples and Ramona Park Broke My Heart were Staples’ first projects since FM! 2018, its final release for Def Jam Recordings. In 2019 it was announced that Vince Staples would release music under Blacksmith Recordings, the label founded by its manager Corey Smyth in association with Captiol and Motown.
