The termination and subsequent extension talks from manifest were just as dramatic as the show itself, but it has a happy ending as Netflix decided to revive Jeff Rake’s popular sci-fi drama for a final season.

Rake confirmed that manifest News about the fourth season on his Twitter account and confirmed that the fourth season will be bigger than usual and will have 20 episodes. The renewal comes after a strong performance on Netflix after the show was canceled by NBC after three seasons. Warner Bros. initially attempted to sell the show to streamers, including Netflix, but a passionate fan campaign and sustained performance led to the shocking renewal.

manifest Starring Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh, Athena Karkanis, JR Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur and Matt Long. The series concluded its third season in June last year with a two-part finale.

The series revolves around an airliner that mysteriously disappears, only to reappear five years later. While no time has passed for the passengers, the world has gone on without them, and in search of answers to how and why their plane went missing years ago, new secrets are unfolding for the passengers.

Manifest is written and executive producer by Jeff Rake, who also doubles as the showrunner. Executive producers are Jack Rapke, Jackie Levine and Len Goldstein.
